Position: Investment Officer
Location- Lagos
Job Summary
Using the objectives of the organization as a guide, the investment officer ensures that a critical analysis of prospective investees or businesses is done before an actual investment is made by RegCharles into these businesses.
Responsibilities
*.Prospective Deal sourcing
*.Structuring of prospective MSME deals for funding or alternative investment
*.Carrying out due diligence on prospective MSMEs
*.Preparation of business plans for prospective MSMEs
*.Building of financial models for prospective MSMEs
*.Preparation of information memorandum and fund raising proposals for prospective MSMEs
*.Running of valuations on prospective MSMEs
*.Sourcing of long term funds for investment in prospective MSMEs
*.Consult with clients on investment strategies, products and services that are suitable for their needs
*.Respond to client questions and requests
*.Track and translate investment performance and make recommendations.
*.Establish a network of referrals
*.Analyze financial information to produce forecasts of business, industry, and economic conditions for use in making investment decisions; ;
*.Interpret data affecting investment programs, such as price, yield, stability, future trends in investment risks, and economic influences;
*.Maintain knowledge and stay abreast of developments in the fields of technology, business, finance, government and economic theory;
*.Prepare plans of action for investment based on financial analyses.

Qualifications and Requirements
*.Bachelor's degree holder in any discipline preferably in the social sciences (minimum of second class lower).
*.Must have a minimum of one (1) year relevant experience in private equity, venture capital or investment banking space.
*.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*.Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel.
*.Must have good numerical abilities.
*.Must be proficient in deal sourcing.
